Pumpkin pies are in the oven, the sweet potatoes are cooking, and soon I’ll be in there getting the dressing mixed up and ready to stuff the turkey early in the morning. As I was in the kitchen preparing for the grand feast we’ll be having for our Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow afternoon, I was reminded of how incredibly blessed I am. God truly has dealt bountifully with us. No, our lives are not perfect, the difficult situations we face do not always turn out just the way we’d like them to, we have to deal with sorrow, disappointment, and even death…but God is good and He is faithful!
As we reflect on our blessings, we are truly thankful for each one of you. We are grateful for the opportunity God has given us to connect with you through this ministry. May you have a very blessed Thanksgiving and may you spend the day surrounded by those who are dearest to you.
